Login Process for Different Platforms

MT4 Mobile Login

  1. Download the MT4 mobile app from App Store or Google Play
  2. Open the app
  3. Tap on the “+” icon to add a new account
  4. Select “Login to an existing account”
  5. Enter your account number and password
  6. Select the server (Windsor-Real or Windsor-Demo)
  7. Tap “Login”

Windsor Brokers Client Portal Login

  1. Go to the Windsor Brokers website
  2. Click on “Login” in the top right corner
  3. Select “Client Portal”
  4. Enter your email address and password
  5. Click “Login”

MT4 Desktop Login

  1. Download and install MT4 from the Windsor Brokers website
  2. Launch the MT4 platform
  3. Click on “File” in the top menu
  4. Select “Login to Trade Account”
  5. Enter your account number and password
  6. Select the server (Windsor-Real or Windsor-Demo)
  7. Click “Login”

MT4 WebTrader Login

  1. Visit the Windsor Brokers website
  2. Click on “WebTrader” in the top menu
  3. Enter your account number and password
  4. Select the server (Windsor-Real or Windsor-Demo)

Note: For security reasons, we recommend changing your password upon first login.

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Windsor Brokers offers 2FA for enhanced account security. To enable 2FA:
  1. Log in to your Client Portal
  2. Navigate to “Security Settings”
  3. Select “Enable Two-Factor Authentication”
  4. Follow the prompts to set up 2FA using an authenticator app
Once enabled, you’ll need to enter a 6-digit code from your authenticator app when logging in.

Login Troubleshooting

If you encounter login issues:

  1. Verify your internet connection
  2. Ensure caps lock is off
  3. Clear your browser cache and cookies
  4. Try logging in from a different device or browser
  5. Check if there are any ongoing system maintenance announcements

Platform-Specific Login Issues

MT4 Desktop

  • Ensure you’ve selected the correct server (Windsor-Real or Windsor-Demo)
  • Verify that your MT4 platform is up to date
  • Reinstall the platform if issues persist

  2. Navigate to “API Management”
  3. Generate API credentials

Mobile Device Management

To manage devices linked to your account:

  1. Log in to the Client Portal
  2. Go to “Security Settings”
  3. View and manage linked devices
  4. Remove any unrecognized or old devices

Account Security Best Practices

To keep your Windsor Brokers account secure:

  1. Use a strong, unique password
  2. Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
  3. Avoid using public or shared computers to access your account
  4. Log out after each session
  5. Regularly update your password

Multiple Account Management

If you have multiple accounts with Windsor Brokers:

  1. Each account has a unique login ID
  2. You can link accounts in the Client Portal for easy management
  3. Use the MT4 Multiterminal for simultaneous trading on multiple accounts

Session Timeout

For security reasons, your session will automatically timeout after 30 minutes of inactivity. To continue trading, you’ll need to log in again.

FAQ

If you receive an “Invalid Account” error:

  1. Double-check that you’re entering the correct account number
  2. Verify that you’ve selected the correct server (Windsor-Real or Windsor-Demo)
  3. Ensure your account is still active and not suspended
  4. Contact customer support if the issue persists, providing your account number and a screenshot of the error

To change your login password:

  1. Log in to your Client Portal
  2. Navigate to “Security Settings”
  3. Click on “Change Password”
  4. Enter your current password
  5. Enter and confirm your new password
  6. Click “Submit”

Ensure your new password meets our security requirements: at least 8 characters long, including uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters.

If you suspect unauthorized access:

  1. Immediately change your password
  2. Enable Two-Factor Authentication if not already active
  3. Review your recent account activity for any suspicious transactions
